IPCC workshop on the Use of Scenarios in AR6 and Subsequent Assessments 2023
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) organised a workshop on “ The Use of Scenarios in AR6 and Subsequent Assessments” which took place on 25-27 Aprul 2023.

The workshop aimed to:
- Take stock of the contribution of scenarios to the AR6 products, alongside the strengths, weaknesses and gaps;
- Consider innovations in the scenario approach, and in scenario architectures, which could be pursued in concert with the relevant research communities; and,
- Address improvements in institutional mechanisms, cross-Working Group collaboration, and actions to support the diversity of contributors.
