Céline GUIVARCH
During the Sixteenth IAMC Annual Meeting held last 14 November – 16 November 2023, the Integrated Assessment Modeling Consortium was proud to honour Céline GUIVARCH (CIRED) with the Extraordinary Contributions to the field of Integrated Assessment Modeling Award.
This year’s Award for Extraordinary Contributions to the field of IAM went to Céline Guivarch, in recognition of her cumulative contribution to the IAM community.
Celine contributes in important ways to the IAM community. The award is given in recognition of:
-
Her important contributions to the AR6 cycle. She served as a lead author to the WGIII report’s chapter on Mitigation Pathways Compatible with Long-term Goals and contributed to other chapters and summaries or the report as well as the synthesis report. She also advanced the underlying science of how to best assess IAM scenario ensembles.
-
Her long-standing contribution to the IAM research. She has been a driving force being the IAM team around the IMACLIM-R model, and investigated new research questions on the economics of climate change, including uncertainty, equity, financial instability and structural change.
